Op deze website vind je de ervaringen terug die zijn opgedaan bij het weer rijdbaar maken van een Traction Avant uit 1955 en van een ID19 uit 1970. Daarbij zijn zowel de reguliere herstelacties weergegeven als de extra aanpassingen die zijn gedaan om het rijden in het dagelijks verkeer mogelijk te maken, terwijl de originaliteit zo veel mogelijk is gewaarborgd.

This website contains the experiences from getting my vintage Citroëns ready to run, in my case both from scrap. First the Citroën Traction Avant BN (11), dates 1955, was bought in 2006 and the Citroen ID (DS) from 1970 was bought in 2007. My original goal was to get these cars ready for use on the public roads, but during the process of restoring the cars I found it more and more satisfying to improve the cars, and making sure the originality of the cars remains intact.   Not to make them as good as new but ready to drive!
